Intermediate Crimped the wires are interwoven with three or five crimps per aperture. This weave is used when the aperture to wire ratio is in excess of 5.

It can be divided into single intermediate crimped and double intermediate crimped.

Single intermediate crimped is the weaving method, which the weft wire is crimped before weaving and the warp wire is woven directly.

Double intermediate crimped is the weaving method, which both the warp and weft wire is crimped before weaving
